ATOMATA

ATOMATA exists in the space between tension and surrender. Formed by Future//Films (Jesucio) and KENIAA (Kenia Avendano), the project emerged when two longtime friends found themselves meeting at the right time, place and wavelength, creating a world that could only exist between them. Named after the ancient Greek automaton ("self-moving" or "acting of itself"), ATOMATA embraces the idea that the strongest works are discovered rather than controlled. Built on instinct rather than expectation, the project allows songs to reveal themselves through trust, curiosity and shared creation, where imperfection becomes part of the language rather than something to overcome. Songs unfold through voice, atmosphere and emotion, allowing fragility and intensity to coexist without competing for attention. Every piece feels less like a performance than a shared state of becoming, where neither artist leads and both are transformed by the process. Rather than existing alongside their individual work, ATOMATA becomes a space where both practices dissolve into something new, an ongoing exploration where music follows feeling instead of formula. Current Following the release of Sleepwalker (I) and Synesthesia, ATOMATA is completing its debut full-length album, scheduled for release in early 2027 through Outburst Intervals.
