Nansea writes for the moments that are hardest to explain. Their songs make space for uncertainty, intimacy and quiet transformation, finding beauty in what lingers long after the last note has faded. Every composition is built with remarkable care, where silence, texture and layered voices carry as much emotional weight as melody itself. Collaboration is a natural extension of that approach. Rather than imposing a signature, Nansea creates space for dialogue, allowing ideas to evolve through trust, curiosity and careful listening. It's an approach that values emotional honesty over certainty, and conversation over control. Nansea and Jesucio first met more than a decade ago, but the right collaboration took time to arrive. It began with Jesucio reworking Kindness, followed by CUT, two existing Nansea compositions that gradually evolved into new forms for Future//Films' dancefloor mixtape album, IONIC. Rather than conventional remixes, the pieces became conversations between both artists, preserving the emotional heart of the originals while Future//Films built new spaces around Nansea's distinctive vocal arrangements.
