THE SHARA STORY
Filmed continuously over a 24-hour period across three locations in Berlin, SHARA pushed its cast and crew through an experience that was as physically demanding as it was emotionally and metaphysically immersive. Directed by Zoey Lee and starring Kewin Bo, the film explores transformation, alienation and resilience not only as themes, but as lived experience.
Beginning at midnight, when Berlin's streets were at their quietest and the city's underbelly revealed itself through mist, dew and moonlight, Jesus Martinez, Zoey Lee, Kewin Bo and cinematographer Jaryl Lim moved from location to location without interruption, creating a work shaped as much by endurance as intention.
