Biography
Future//Films is the alias of Jesus "Jesucio" Martinez, and every session begins the same way: not with a sound in mind, but with a muse to find. Music leads, but the muse doesn't stop at sound, it moves into image, object, and form as easily as it moves through a mix. Whether producing himself or another artist, he works by tuning into whatever wants to emerge, treating the accidental and the imperfect as the good stuff rather than something to fix, error-candy and surrealism as a native language rather than a device. Restraint sits beside distortion, precision beside chaos, an expanse with no fixed shape and no interest in finding one. An Aquarian shapeshifter by nature, the work was never meant to hold still, and neither is he.
Martinez founded Outburst Intervals to give that same restlessness a home, a place built for the muses and the collaborators who follow them, where otherness isn't smoothed over but welcomed in.
Current
IONIC is Future//Films' first mixtape album, and its center of gravity is the dancefloor, a departure from where the rest of the work usually lives. Built from new tracks, reworked material, and songs shaped alongside AKINOM, Fabian Kalker, KRÆ, Nansea, Pokket Noizze, and The New Ways, it's a special collaboration built around the catharsis of dancing, community, and release. It's the start of a chapter that has no fixed shape yet either.
